What began as a small Basmati cultivation venture in 1989 has grown into integrated operation spanning cultivation partnerships, milling, grading, hygienic packing and international logistics. The company now runs dedicated manufacturing unit in Madlauda, Panipat, alongside a corporate office in New Delhi that coordinates export operations.
Today, G.R. International supplies Basmati, Non-Basmati and Brown Rice to importers, wholesalers and food businesses across more than 50 countries — with the same hands-on approach to quality that defined its earliest years.
In 1989, in a small town in Panipat, Late Shri K.L. Garg set out with a simple belief: that Basmati rice carrying the G.R. International name should never vary in quality, no matter how far it travelled.
He built the company on relationships first—with the farmers who grew the paddy, the workers who milled it, and the importers who trusted him to deliver exactly what was promised. That founding principle still shapes how every batch is aged, graded and packed today.
"One should strive for the best, and not rest until the goal is fulfilled."
Quality at G.R. International isn't a single inspection — it's a process, repeated on every lot.
Grain is aged under controlled conditions to preserve moisture and develop the aroma Basmati is known for.
Each lot is milled and sorted by length and grade — Raw, Golden, Steam, Creamy or Sella — before release.
Purity checks and hygienic packing lines protect grain integrity from mill floor to sealed bag.
A final check against buyer specification and documentation, before the container is sealed for shipping.
Two ideas the founder set down decades ago, still guiding every decision we make.
To deliver consistently precise, quality Basmati and non-Basmati rice to customers worldwide; to build a professional environment where our people grow; and to run a financially strong, growth-oriented company that creates lasting value for everyone connected to it.
To preserve and enrich the legacy of premium Basmati rice by protecting the genetic integrity of the seed, encouraging farmers toward scientific cultivation, and applying world-class, hygienic processing — so G.R. International becomes the industry benchmark for quality and customer service.
